~ The Glowing Night ~

One dark night as I lay sleeping
Worn down by a night of weeping
I was awakened by the sound
Of sweet soft music all around...

In the room there was a glow
And feelings of safety I'd yet to know
Beside me on the bed
Sat an angel at my head...

No dread was felt or sense of fear
For I sensed she was always near
Though never did a word she speak
She stroked my hair and touched my cheek...

I snuggled close as I felt I must
And for the first time I felt trust
With this guardian from above
Was the first time I felt love...

As her fingers stroked my hair
I knew I would someday this story share
I had angels as my "mothers"
I would survive to help others...

To let children know they are not alone
In this world of cold hard stone
When they suffer because of those they love
They are being watched over from above....

Some will live and carry on
Some the angels will carry home
But inside each tear that on a cheek does glisten
Lies a message for those who will listen...

And though they do not always appear
These angels they are ever near
And when we are faced with pain and wrath
There is a reason for the path...

Today when memories invoke sadness
Wondering if there was method to the madness
I cling tightly to the childhood sight
Of the angel in the glowing night.....

~ The Secret of Life ~

As God was creating the world he called upon his archangels.
The Lord asked his archangels to help him decide
Where to put the Secret of Life.

" Bury it in the ground," one angel replied.
"Put in in the bottom of the sea. " said another.
" Hide it in the moutains, " another suggested.

The Lord replied, If I see to do any of those only a few
will find the Secret of Life. The Secret of Life must be
accessible to EVERYONE!

One angel replied, " I know: Put it in each man's heart
nobody will think to look there.
" Yes! " said the Lord. " Within each man's heart."
and so it was - The SECRET OF LIFE lies within all of us.

~ Messages Of Love ~

Have you stood atop a mountain
Beneath a starlit sky,
And felt so close to Heaven
It almost made you cry?

Have you walked along the seashore
With someone that you love
To watch the sleepy morning sun
Rise Triumphantly above?

Have you strolled beside a babbling brook
To purify your soul,
And left a catfish on your hook
To pet a passing foal?

Have you walked through fields of daisies
To pick a bight bouquet,
And lingered there til twilight
Turned shadows bluish-gray?

Have you learned from God's creation
His messages of love?
For it makes one stop and wonder
What's in store for us above!
