Comments: Great web site ! My background(mountains of KY) and yours are very similar (at13 power lifting,at 14 begin training in Shotokan kara-te, violent tempers on both sides.) Why are there so few honorable men left in the world? Don't people feel accountabl for their words and actions ? Well, sorry to start off with a negative thought. Your tapes and philosophy intrigue me. Iam searching! May peace be with you. TBM

Comments: Great site. I'm not aware of any JuJitsu schools in this area.
Comments: I really appraciate historical correct information about the famous Daito-ryu. I think that much of the kansetsu-waza that I learned in my study of Korean Kuk Sool and Hapkido was influenced directly by the Daito-ryu syllabus and passed down by Yong Shul hoi who's Japanese name was Asao Yoshida. This is something that should not be denied but rather accepted in the international community that now practice these "combat cousins" of AikiJujutsu and Hapkido. Even though each have their own special identity. In the United States we practice the Japanese and Korean root martial arts and ways in more of a transcultural composite manner. This is not done out of disrespect I can assure you rather it is simply our best way of understanding these treasures. I would like to know more about your ryu-ha and are there any shibu dojo in the North Texas area? Thanks ya'll. Michael
Comments: VERY NICE WEB PAGE. EXCITED TO SEE OTHERS DEVOTED TO OLDER, MORE TRADITIONAL AND EFFECTIVE STYLES. GANBATTE!
Comments: Very well done website. Nice to see someone taking the time to produce something professional. Thank you
Comments: Thank you for the wonderful web site. The information I was able to gather and study is a real pleasant surprise to me. I agree with your position of teaching people the traditional arts that have evolved over the years. Whether it be, Daito-ryu, Iaido, A ki, Judo, whatever. In our modern western society we generally want things given to us quickly, wonder what it will cost and what reward we get. As a student of Tibetan Buddhism, I realize that is not the right approach to take. Our path is a life long on . Bert Pullen
