attracts birds, bees and ME? A pond!
Some of the cretins --- er, critters --- are not the most friendly. I only want to play with them, but they don't see the humor. These pictures were taken the day they came to live with us. Of course, I was there to inspect. Inside this lovely smorgasbord are my friends the Koi (close-ups below), The Blue Channel Cats Jake and Elwood*, and miss Polly*. The rest are lower life forms which do not interest me. Besides, the last bunch of snails we got ran away. Well, maybe slithered away... They were found days later by the lawn mower :( *Less
than 24 hours after arrival we had a jumper. It's hard to tell if
it was Jake or Elwood.
