(Ratigan gasps and chokes on his champagne. He rants on Bartholomew for calling him a rat, despite the comfort given by the rest of his gang. Ratigan then has Bartholomew executed by his pet cat, Felicia, and Bartholomew is no more. Ratigan returns to the crowd and the song resumes.)
