He had been personally
handpicked for this extremely important assignment. It only seemed fitting that
the Rodney McKay should be running the evaluation of the Ancient post on
Antarctica, which in turn would lead to his brilliant discoveries unparalleled
throughout the scientific community.
He scowled, watching Doctor
(barely) Daniel Jackson write nonsense all over one of their white boards.
"This is a project of
utmost importance," Rodney told him.
"Hmm," Daniel said
and continued to draw pictures.
"Of true science."
"Hmm." Daniel kept
working.
"Precisely,"
Rodney said, satisfied.
He didn't need anyone. He
was Rodney.
"So, how is Colonel
Carter?"
