In all his life, he had
never felt so weak. While it was true that many times he had felt the need to
rely on his symbiote, not only for strength, but also for life, Teal'c had
understood the dependency of Jaffa on their symbiotes. He may have despised it,
yet he had accepted it.
But this he could not
accept. He could no longer blame his weakness on the Goa'uld. Teal'c knew that
in his heart he was broken, weak, useless. To know that he could no longer be
who he once was…it was as if he were dead.
