MARTIN DRAFTS AND WAGONS
We raise, sell, and train draft horses, and mules. We also have many types of wagons that we have available for special occasions and wagon rides. We also travel quite a bit and can haul most equine and equipment to or from your location. If we don't have what you want listed on our website, don't despair! We may just not have gotten around to listing it so please conatact us for any of your equine needs!

WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE DO
We are a family run farm that loves our animals. We have had horses nearly all of our lives. We started out with Quarter horses and paints mainly for pleasure. As we grew in our farm, we decided we would like to have some draft animals. One day, God made that possible and we purchased our first Belgian mare. It was only a few days until we aquired our 2nd Belgian. Then we needed a wagon. One of our dear friends told us about a wagon that was in an old chicken house that needed restoration. So David and our son, Winn, spent the next year and a half completely restoring this wagon from the frame up. Our first "official" event was to pull kids in the wagon at a local VBS. We had never worked these horses together and we only had a few days until the event. So David went to the barn one night and prayed to God that these horses would be used to lift up HIS name and that all would go well. Needless to say, it went off without any problems whatsoever. We started doing events on a pretty regular basis. We never knew how God had planned to use these animals. In February of 2007, One of the mares was being bred by one of our jacks. The jack reached and bit the mare and David "accidentally" stepped into the middle of them and he was kicked sqaurely in the heart. We don't know for sure how long he lay there before I found him. When we got him to the hospital, they found a hole in his heart the size of a man's thumb, all his ribs were broken, his lung was deflated, his spleen was bruised, as was his liver. The doctor's told me that it would be a miracle if he made it thru surgery, and if he did survive, he would probably be a "vegetable". We had prayer chains going all over the US. David was in a coma for 3 1/2 weeks before he finally awoke. He remained in the hospital another four days before going home. The only permanent damage to David is some memory loss and some loss of strength in his hands. He has about 28% of his heart that still functions, but we are all doing well! We know WHO brought him thru! So we decided that these animals were "loaned " to us for the purpose of lifting up GOD. We share our story wherever He wants us to.Maybe one day we can share the complete story with you! I hope we meet one day, whether it be here on this earth or on the other side. God Bless.
We are available for wagon rides, weddings, funerals, Church events,Bible Schools, parties, school functions and more. We have several wagons to choose from. We rent out our wagons and equipment for backdrops and plays and many other functions. Please check out our picture gallery. If you don't see what you want, don't get discouraged! We have many different kinds and I just don't have all the pics posted yet. Please let me know if you don't see what you want and I will send specific pictures. We also have several stallions and jacks for breeding. We can probably meet any need that you might have. Let us try to help you!
