About Manhattan
Home right now for me is Manhattan. Yes, the city that never sleeps, the Big Apple. I love it here, and find it hard to live anywhere else at this stage in my life. Why, you may ask. Well, Manhattan is extremely vibrant. There's an energy level associated with a younger city, but as an older city, it has all the refinements too. Everything from big time sports, to museums, to plays, clubs, fine arts, shops. Anything and everything. The advantages of a big city. I live near Central Park, so a nice little walk is but a block away. And, if you keep your wits about you, and use some common sense, safety is not an issue. You stick your hand out and magically a taxi appears [most of the time!] Manhattan is also a major financial center and I currently work in this field, so...

    • Coming by train? You're most probably using Amtrak
    • Driving? You'll need a map [it is sometimes difficult / slow to connect to this site], so use this one instead
