
These ducks are also called Buff Orpington ducks because they originated from the famous Orpington Farms in England.
This is the same home of the well known Orpington Breed of chickens.
The drake and duck are coloured the same with the exception of the drake’s head which is a beautiful seal-brown matched against the soft buff colour of the rest of the duck.
The females are good layers and lay a white or tinted egg.
It is capable of laying up to 220 eggs a year.
They can be very friendly and have a brave temperment.
