Morning
in the city...
people is
walking in the streets, to their jobs ; children are in the school ; life
is
normally
here; it's a common day...until now.
It's almost 8:45 a.m. ...
suddenly,
a big explotion was listened near to the WTC, in a south Manhattan ;
an
airplane was crashed one of the famous twin towers (north), beginning a
terrible
fire ;
nobody cannot believed ; they was think that's a unfortunate accident, but
not...

Peter
Venkman woke up, and saw that he was alone in the bed. Turning on the other
side for
to sleep a few minutes more, when listened noises in the first floor ;
altered
voices,
and almost screams. He dressed
quickly and down the staircases. Voices
was come
to the living room, and saw his friends watching the TV notices, with a
expression
of amusse (and horror) in the faces...
"What
happen? Why have you that expression?..."
, and before could say nothing,
Winston
senalyzed the TV and scream...
"Look...!" ... the four watched a second
airplane crashing to the south tower,
cutting
it in almost two parts, literally... They're muttered.
"What a
movie" , Peter says, "very spectacular. It's so real..." , but Ray
corrected
him...
"Is not a
movie, Peter, it's real ; these two airplanes were crashed in the Twin
Towers,
in Manhattan ; here, in New York, and
now...that's the notices, not TV show..."
"...and
say that's terrorist attack, probably..." , then, Peter turned around
Winston
and
increped *him* ...
"Terrorists?
Here, in N.Y.? You're kidding, boy ; that's impossible!"
"I fear",
Egon finally says, "that is true, Peter...there are terrorists here... and
nobody could do nothing for stopped them
; that was so surprised..." , brunette's
green
eyes turned brilliants, and screamed...
"It's not
true! I don't believe it!! This can't happen in the city, my city, my country!

Egon
took him
by both arms, and said firmly...
"Calm,
Peter, calm! We didn't believe it, but it's true ; Manhattan was bombed ,
almost destroyed...we're sorry, too :

all the people running, screaming, crying. All the people *out there* "
suddenly
Winston
remembered... "Janine! she didn't coming yet...!"
"Oh, no!"
, Ray worried, " I really hope that
she's allright..." ; in this

rings... Egon ran to take the call...
"Ghostbusters...Janine!
Are you okay? In where are you...ahá...yes, sure...take it
easy...don't worry, we're fine...take
care, please...bye..."
The other
three were close to him and asked...
"How is
she? In where? she's not in damage? Please, tell us..."
"No ; she
told me that's fine ; she couldn't go away her neighborhood. All exits are
closed. Police insisted to the people
they have stay in home : WTC was doomed..."
They're
stayed in silence...
"At
least, she's save" , Ray says, " And we? We'll can do...?"
"I don't
know what you can do" , Pete indeed, "but I'll going there and help the
rescuers to find survivors. I don't stay
here without do nothing ; I want help them."
"We're
going with you, Pete", Winston agreed, "Let's go, men."
And
they're went to Manhattan.

When the
guys arrived to disaster zone, were petrified : towers on fired, a hard
dust
covered
cars and streets, the people running in all directions, afraid ; the others
buildings
menacing fall down over their heads... a police officer was closed to
them...
"What are
you doing here? It's dangerous to stay in this place..."
"Ghostbusters
; we want help you to rescue trapped people..." , Winston says...
"Perfect!
We need all the help that as possible. Go there ; maybe there are some
people in *there* ..." ; They went to the ruins, and begun
to remove rubbles...
And then,
they saw *something* that let *them* in one piece...
A ghost
was surgered to the fallen structure, and stayed in front of the guys.
Both were
see for a seconds, and the entity "said" ...
"You,
fools... this be continued...until the giant was ruined, and pay for all his
sins...
world will be destroyed, purified ;
liberty of your evil influence...so was wrote,
so will happen...you're dead,
everybody's dead...long life..." , Peter screamed to it...
"You're
crazy! Nobody will destroy this city, no one the world! This country are
strong, and neither stupid ghost will
scare us! Do you understand?!"
"Why, why
this happen? What will follow it...?" , Ray just gets a maligne laugh, and
the ghost
vanished of there... They weren't obtain an answer...
"This
country will not ruined! We have faith!
We'll stand on feet!
Everybody will see it...!" , but Pete's
shout was lost in the wind...and they listened
little
noises under ruins...maybe somebody is alive... they begin remove stones
and
metal
tubes, again. There are hopeless,
after all.
Courage
and faith, because the life must go on.
