| HAPPY SAMHAIN!! Witches, vampires, goblins and ghosts Samhain is the holiday we love the most! It is time for the last harvest and the witches' New Year. The leaves have fallen, there is a chill in the air, maybe it's just the temperature or maybe a dear departed loved one. It's time to honor those that have gone before us. Let us honor and pay tribute to our loved ones who we have had an honor to know. Celebrate by having a personal family get together or a big monster bash with all your family and friends, one last big party before the winter sets in. Persephone has been gone to the underworld and Demeter's morning and longing is evident in the bare trees, longer nights and the chill in the air. The god has given his life so that he may be reborn to the goddess as the Sun God at Yule. The goddess herself has retreated into herself and prepares for the birth of her son. This is a time of self discovery, shadow work and hybernation. Take time for yourself, re-evaluate the events of the previous year, what you have accomplished, what still needs closure, and what you can let go of. Happy Halloween, Samhain, All Hallows Eve! |
