We have been at our current South Nanaimo location for
over five years, but unfortunately this is a rented property. We would
like to establish a permanent base by getting a property donated or
locating a suitable lease or rent to own site.
This would allow us to expand our facilities to meet the ever increasing
needs of injured, orphaned and at risk wildlife. This would also
eliminate the stress of long transports to other facilities for wildlife
we can only temporarily house (deer, fawns, beaver etc.) due to the
limitations of our current site.
Ideally the relocation would be in the 'mid - island' (Duncan to Bowser)
area, with at least one acre (more is good!) of secluded woodland.
Existing building(s) - house, garage, sheds, barn, etc. - would be a
bonus, but ample water (good well!) and a functioning septic system
would really help keep costs down.
If you can help us out in this regard please contact:
