These pictures were taken at the 1997 Mid-Atlantic Air Museum's annual World War II
airshow. As you will no doubt notice, it was ever so slightly overcast. In
fact, it rained a few times. No nice blue skys here ! This caused me a few problems,
firstly there was a relatively low cloud ceiling, so the planes were flying through light
fog/clouds. You can see this in some of the aerial photos. Also because of this, the planes
were virtually flying against a uniform grey-sky, which makes the sky look dull. I also
discovered that my scanner really does not like midnight-blue coloured planes - it seems
to think they should be black.
Enjoy the pictures !
