1992 Battle of the Coral Sea 50th Anniversary Airshow
Barry Hempel's MIG 15, and (for what it is worth) his tiger moth just beyond it. [15,967 bytes]

Barry let me have a look inside the cockpit of his MIG 15 which was *really* nice of him. I never even asked, he just came up to me and asked if I would like a close look. Naturally I jumped at the opportunity. Sadly I ran out of film as soon as I got there, which meant this was the only cockpit picture I managed to get. [22,070 bytes]

Most planes at this airshow kept *really* high up. The notable exceptions were the roulettes, who are professional aerobatic pilots, the Pitt Special pilots (again, pro aerobatic pilots), and strangely the MIG 15 which was flying low and fast all day. [10,919 bytes]
