| South American by habitat, Oncidiums are cultivated along with the Asiatic tropical orchids. An important orchid genus with more than 800 epiphytic species. Flower forms, size, colour,plant structure all are varied within the genus, but the basic structure of a dancing lady keeps this genus and their hybrids as very interesting. Many species produce very long stems dotted with hundreds of small BROWN and YELLOW flowers. |
