| Yngwie J.Malmsteen's Rising Force My absolute favorite guitar in the whole wide world!!! Perhaps one of the best things that I can recall about my junior high school years was being introduced to Yngwie's music. My friend, an aspiring young guitar player, made me listen to "Far Beyond the Sun" during one of our walks home from school. That moment changed my life forever. I was finally blessed to perceive and enjoy music in its truest and purest of forms. Many years past Malmsteen's music remains my "personal anthem", his intoxicating solos helping me through both happy and darker moments in life. After almost 25 years of his marvelous career on stage Malmsteen plays louder than ever. Hail to you Mighty King of Arpeggios! |

The Kingdom of Algalord might not be without its own troubles, its lands held within the powerful grasp of The Dark Lord, but there's always a brave warrior to overcome any battle. My hands ache to hold the Emerald Sword of Victory and join in the war against all evil deamons riding a magical dragon! |
| Stratovarius Being highly selective when it comes to the music I listen, I always favor bands that show great musical skills, passion, good lyrical content, and the ability to convey the message of the music. Stratovarius is a band that combines all of these great qualities in a dazzling fireworks of their deeply emotional music. Unlike some of the typical sugary and depressive lyrics often encountered in metal, Stratovarius is a very unique Scandinavian power metal group. Their songs include philosophical dialogues concerning the fate of our universe, emotional issues, as well as some breathtaking and highly romantic ballads. Stratovarius' album "Destiny" will always be my personal favorite. This CD truly captures and mirrors the style and brilliance of this amazing band. |
