About Me

 

    I have lived with my (second) husband in Pennsylvania since 1994. I have been a student and practitioner of the occult for over seventeen years and have acted as priestess for a Germanic-pagan group for the past eleven years.  I am also an initiate a magickal order. I have a Master’s in Psychology from Canyon College and am almost finished my MS in educational psychology from Capella University. I also hold a Doctor of Divinity degree from the American Institute of Holistic Theology and am a II° Reiki practitioner.   My hobbies include writing poetry, creative non-fiction, and short stories, painting, exercise, and exploring nature.  I also love animals and reading.  My favorite authors include Hermann Hesse, Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Anne Rice, and renegade psychiatrists R.D. Laing, Roberto Assagioli, and David Lukoff.  I work full time as a Residential Teacher and Case Manager  I teach life skills and do behavioral interventions kids and young adults who have brain injuries, autism or other severe neurological disorders and mental retardation. My ambition is to seek ever greater understanding of myself and others and to find as much love and joy in life (and death) as I can.

I enjoy music of all kinds: jazz, classical, rock, industrial, heavy metal goth, some R & B, celtic, folk, poetry art, writing, movies, hiking, bike riding, swimming, traveling, nature, and making jewelry..
