The
Knights of Columbus organization granted a Charter to Council 12613, Saint
Cecilia Council on January 5, 2000. On January 19,
2000 the 32 charter members were initiated and the first Officers of the
Council were elected. Richard Benoit was elected the first Grand Knight.
The Saint Cecilia Council works closely with the Saint Cecilia Parish in
Pawtucket, providing funds for various projects, members being active participants
in the parish. Our other charities are the Saint Cecilia School, and theWampanoag
Warriors of the Rhode Island Special Olympics.
