I believe that God
sent his son Jesus to live among men and to pay the price for the
sins of each and every human being by dying on the cross. I believe
that Jesus conquered death by the power of the Holy Spirit and rose
from the grave to return to heaven to prepare a place for you and
me. He will return for us in His time. Praise the Lord - My life has
been changed by the power of the Holy Spirit and God's wondrous gift
of salvation through Jesus Christ. I was born again in Christ on November 14, 1998.
My life has a new focus, and so, my presence in cyberspace shall attempt to
glorify God as well.
I am just about as ordinary as a person can be. God put Steve (& Doug) in my life
about 10 years ago, and added Megan to our family 4 years ago,
and we are blessed to announce the anticipation of a new baby in March of 2001.
(I am also birthmom to a son-11-2-87, whose adoptive Mom faithfully sends me yearly
updates with pics.) My family is truly a blessing to me- though they
may not realize it. Some years have been rather bumpy- as it should
be for proper perspective and growth.By the grace and mercy of God
we have not experienced any great tragedy as a family. We live in a
cute little house,in a small town in Northeastern Frederick County,
Maryland. I work , as a certified Pharmacy Technician, at a local
hospital. I enjoy my work very much and again credit God with
leading me into a field that I enjoy. Sometimes it is a challenge to
go about my work with an attitude of humility, and servitude. I try
to think of it as being Christ's hands in action and working for God
not for the money or the "machine". I like to read-especially God's Word,
work jigsaw puzzles, enjoy nature with my family, fellowship with other Christians, sing praises to God, try new-easy- recipes to name a
few of my many pleasures. I would like to find some way to share my
life experiences in a manner that would help others, and I think I'd
like to go on some mission trips and help to spread the love of
Jesus throughout my community and others. I attend Thurmont United
Methodist Church and am a part of the Maryland Emmaus community. My
mother somehow managed to get my 3 siblings and I to church more
often than not when we were children - so I really have 2 church
families for which I am truly thankful. The folks at Tom's Creek UMC
really helped to raise me to be who I am today. Though I felt called
to move to a new worship location, I will always remember the love
that surrounded me during my growing-up years and through some of
the toughest times in my life.
Two of the
happiest days in my life-
