Convientely located to Route 81 and the Pennsylvania Turnpike Maple Hill Stables is located in the historic Cumberland Valley at the base of the Blue Mountain.  We are within minutes of the Cumberland Valley Rails to Trails, State Game Lands, Michaux State Forest, and Colonel Denning State Park.

Maple Hill Stables was purchased in the fall 2004.  The first improvement to be done was the removing of old box wire and barbed wire fencing and the installation of 3 strands of hot cote wire around the 4.5 acre pasture.

In 2005 we built a 36' x 48' barn.  The new barn includes 6 stalls, wash stall with hot and cold running water, a tack room, and hay loft above the center aisle.  There are graded partitions between each stall and windows in each stall to help maximize ventilation in the barn.  The stalls are made of tongue and groove lumber and aluminum grill work from
Freedom Equestrian.  Each stall also has a feed door to make feeding time hassle free.

A 95' x 195' stone dust all weather lighted outdoor riding ring was constructed in 2005.  This ring is a wonderful addition to our facility.  In 2006 we added a ring full of jumps from flower boxes, cross rails, barrels, and brush boxes.  We are also working on a few cross country type jumps in the pasture.
