| We all know what horses can do to a clean blanket in good condition. I'm sure if they could talk they would tell an interesting story about how they tried to help their buddy out of their blanket at all costs. Being a horse owner I have seen the destruction a horse can do to a blanket. Horse blankets are an investment that need to be properly cared for to make them last as long as possible. As owners, the worse thing we can do is to store them dirty. The dirt "eats" away at the fibers of the blanket preventing it from lasting as long as it could. This is where we come into the picture. We care for your blanket as if it was one from our stable. All blankets are washed according to manufacturers directions. Depending upon the type of blanket, we us a mild detergent or a detergent designed specifically for your blanket. If your blanket needs to have the weather proofing reapplied, don't worry we can also take care of that. As part of the cleaning process we will also make sure the liner is cleaned and if the blanket has Velcro on it we will make sure that it is free of debris. If the blanket needs repaired we will gradly make the necessary repairs ensuring the blanket will have many more years of service for your buddy. If space is an issue when storing your horse's blanket(s) we have you covered. We can seal your clean, repaired blanket in a large vacuum bag, ensuring it will be clean and dry for the following seasons. These bags help to reduce blanket storage space. | Estimated Blanket Repair Costs These costs are estimates only, actually blanket repair cost will be determined once the blanket has been evaluated. Major Repairs - large tears or replace large amounts of webbing.......................................................................$30.00 Moderate Repairs - large clean tears, replace front closures, or replace lost or missing hardware....................$20.00 Minor Repairs - small clean tears, small holes, repair stitiching, lose webbing or binding.......................................$10.00 Click on the repair button to see pictures of the various repairs. |
| *Only clean blankets will be repaired. If the blanket is not clean, it will be cleaned before repairs are made and the owner will be charged. *Estimates will be given before any repairs are started. *Shipped in blankets are accepted, please call for an estimate before shipping. Blankets are returned in the same box they arrive in. The blanket owner pays shipping both ways. *Fabric texture and colors are matched as closely as we can, but due to the various processes used to dye fabric the colors may not always be a perfect match. *Fabric matches will be discussed during the estimate. *Waterproof and rip stop fabric is used where necessary. *Blanket pickup is available, please call for details. *There is a $25.00 fee for all returned checks. |
