My Pound Puppy Rescues :)
Loveable, huggable pound puppies!  My best friend got me hooked on these adorable critters way back in 1984. I now have a small, yet consistently growing collection of these darling doggies.

The Pound Puppies on this page are not for sale.
This handsome guy is Boomer. He was named after a very sweet bull terrier that died in 1993. I bought this little guy in 2002, and he has never been removed from his box.
Trouble always comes in threes!  I received this cute pack of pups in 1996. How sweet! The gray pup is named Dill, the solid white is named Snowey, and the rust colored pup is named Chester.  They have never been removed from their package!
Lucy and Digger are both vintage Pound Puppies. Lucy was a flea market rescue, and Digger was found a little later at a yard sale. Lucy took to Digger right away, and has been his acting mother ever since.
Duncan is a small gray with long ears, and yellow ribbon. I rescued him from a flea market in June 2002. He shares a space on the shelf with Peg, a brown cockerspaniel Pound Pup that I rescued from a thrift store about a month earlier.
Winston and Priscilla are two of my favorites. Winston is a Pound Puppy Fluffy, I think it's called. He was found at a thrift store for 25 cents in December 2002. He has super soft fluffy hair all over his back, and his original collar. Priscilla came to live with us in September of 2001. I found her at a flea market. She is simply beautiful with her long, furry ears.
My favorites...the Tonka Rumpleskins!  Rustina is my absolute favorite Pound Puppy. She is a super beautiful copper rust color, and has pointed bulldog ears and her original collar. I lost my original "Rusty" due to flooding in 1991, but a kind lady in Oklahoma agreed to sell this Rustina to me as a replacement. ;)  Beside Rustina is Jake, a light gray Rumpleskins puppy with his original bowtie collar. He is so small and wrinkledy, I consider him the "baby" of my collection.

I am always looking for more of these guys, and would particularly like a solid black one. ------>
This little guy is named Seamus. He's an off white Tonka Rumpleskin Newborn. He's become great buddies with Jake, the other Newborn Rumple in my collection. Seamus was purchased from Jody at Toy-Addict, and arrived Feb. 11th, 2003. His mother, Cubby, who I bought through a "private adoption" is on her way here from Minnesota, and will be arriving soon!
My honorary Pound Puppies. :) Snuffles is a Pound Bunny, complete with little cottony tail. Beside her is Luna, a Tonka Pound Purrrie with original pink neck bow. These two don't realize they're not puppies...they just know their part of the gang. ;)
