Welcome to the Liberation Cyber-Church. We are entirely based on the internet. Here you can worship in the sacred space of the web, and our focus is on inclusion, and on radical liberation. Indeed, that is the message of the Gospel, that Christ came to liberate us. In the first words of his ministry, Jesus said:
Luke 4:18-9 "The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord."
As well as providing all the services of a normal church, we also provide essays setting out our vision for the church, our views on politics and social action, and theological essays in keeping with our radical vision. Some things here may shock, some things may be very different to what you are used to, but everything here is in keeping with our love for God and our fellow man. Theologians and conservatives need liberating as much as anyone else!
The section titles should be fairly explanatory, but in the "Church" section you will find information on how this church works, how to become a member, hymns and our beliefs as well as our vision for the body of Christ.
