Memories
By: LadyWillow
Vivid images.
Bright, technicolor explosions in
my mind.
Two boys
dragging me down
stairs,
the sharp impact with the
basement wall and floor.
The obvious set up of a
bedroom in a corner.
Kid Rock and Korn
posters hang.
The bed is neatly made.
Race car curtains hang on the
only window. They are drawn.
There is a soft whirring coming from the
clothes dryer.
A foot kicks me down when
I try to stand up...
So many memories...
Why won't they...
Go away..?
