i got all mixed up and caught with a man who doesn't give me a second thought.

i merely wanted to take him to the ocean to commune with "god" in the fluid vastness. But he is a man whom for eight years has never made plans which included me; nor does he ever afford me that kindness: to make plans which include him. How do you build a relationship without mutually shared plans? Isn't it like a pilot taking off without a flight plan?

Relationships are not trivial like something you can shirk. Like anything worth having, relationships take work.
