Hi Everyone. June 2009

 No I did not get swallowed up by the earth. I am still alive and kicking. I have been spending alot of my time driving to Pennsylvania to shoot High Power Silhouette. That's because no clubs around here shoot it, and that's the closest place that does. But you want to know when there will be HP at our club not at another club so here it is. This year will be a shorter schedule since I'm going to have Small Bore Silhouette shoots at our club and I will be looking to have someone take over the HP shoots....any takers? Well we have all summer to get someone to take over for me. The new schedule starts in June and there will be a back to back shoots to start. For those who want to know, the jug shoot was a blast for those that showed up! July will also have a WWI shoot so dust of the old Krags, Springfields or Mausers for this one. Its summer lets shoot!

 

High Power Rifle Schedule Sundays at 1 PM

June 28th

July 5th

Aug 2nd

Sept 6th

Oct 4th

Oct 25th (Club Finals/Championship Match)

 

Also there will be Small Bore (.22 rim fire) Silhouette Shoots Saturdays at 11 AM

 

 This is open to anyone with a .22 rim fire rifle or pistol, scopes are allowed and almost a must. this will be run just like a sanctioned NRA shoot so check out the NRA competitions web site for more details. or go to www.steelchickens.com
