Many will be familiar with the Library aspect of this page but for those who are not, the library links included in this library will take you to various yahoo groups and websites around the internet. The stories are not actually saved in this archive, but rather I have created a fanfiction web-ring of sorts. You will click on the story you wish to read and it will take you to the location on the internet where that story is saved. If it is a yahoo group, you will be prompted to join the group to gain access to the stories posted there. The majority of Yahoo group fanfiction is located in my 2 groups (both of a very similar name) so you will likely have to join both if you would like to read all the stories. If you don't wish to stay after, don't feel obligated (although it is nice if you stay and try it out for a short time at least), if you do decide to stay, bear in mind the frequent fanfiction updates that take place in both these groups and set your mail preference accordingly. Some posts can be quite lengthy due to the varying story lengths. Also, if you are an author and would like to be featured in this library, that is all you have to do. Post your fanfiction in the messages section of any of my groups and I will automatically place it in the library during the next update. If you DO NOT want your story in the library...please notify me...as it is automatic if posted in my groups!! For all story posting, please remember to rate your fanfiction (see the ratings standards on the library pages.) any fanfiction not rated will be automatically given an NC-17 rating (which is the most adult rating out there in the States...this may deter many readers from your story...especially if it is actually Pg-13). If such a thing does occur, just contact me with the appropriate rating and it will be fixed in the next update. |

I have tried to compile a varied list of websites, groups and forums for the LOTR fans to go to. I have broken the links up into categories for simpler browsing. If I have missed a great site, or you have one you would like featured, just e-mail me the url and what it is about and I will take a look and see about adding it to the list. I am aiming for sites with a lot of substance to them (pictures, information, links, etc) I am not interested in sites that are only a biography, or may only have 1 or 2 pictures as it is time consuming to do the links and urls. Send me the url anyway...what you may not think is up to snuff, I may find something in there that will earn it a link!! Never be afraid to ask. |
