School, Exterior View 1998 A school in the style of the Amsterdam School.

The Architect, R S Wilshere, built many well designed schools in Belfast during the 1930's.

They are mostly in red brick and this one is probably the most interesting of his designs.

 

 In contrast, the Irish Republic built very few schools in an art deco style or any schools of  interest during this period .
