Aust Grand Champion Glenn Ellyn Fly By Night (Imp NZ)
This is Sidney the beautiful (now retired) American Cocker Spaniel. I handled Sidney for the Western Australian State Final of the Pal Junior Handlers 1997.
We were judged by Max Winch of South Australia, and after handling Sidney to the final four, I was given a border collie to handle, to display skills with another breed. (The second breed was unknown until the time came for showing them!!)
With "Rhett" the Border Collie, I won the Senior Section of the junior handlers, and then it was back to handling Sidney for the overall competition.
I showed Sidney, and like a dream come true I won the State Title, and flew to Queensland in october to compete for the top in Australia. For that I handled an afghan lent to me by the Fowlers of QLD. (see below)
I thank Debbie and Paul Wilkes very much for the honour of handling such a wonderful dog, and for helping me along the way throughout my junior handling career. They also lent me a number of their other yanks, such as Tiffany, Larry and Clarry. Thanks guys!!!

Champion Mikshar City Slicker
He will always have a very special place in my heart, as the big hairy lounge lizard.
Champion Falcore Jumpin' Jack Flash
This is Jarque, owned by Helen White. I showed him to get his Australian championshp and in return, Helen let me take him in Junior Handlers. We had heaps of wins together, so many Ive lost track. Helen also did obedience with him, he is a very smart and fun loving dog. I enjoyed every minute of my time with this Standard poodle.
Ch Borderfame Alusive Lover
This is Sonny and myself on 11 May '96 (when I had red hair) winning the junior handlers class in Geraldton. Heather and Renee (Westurn Kennels) let me show this lovely border collie in breed competition too and Sonny and I won some lovely awards in handling classes. He is also obedience trained, and has a most gorgeous temperament.
Lakeland Terrier
This is the lovely Lakeland Terrier lent to me while I was in Queensland. She was the second dog, chosen for me by the judge Michael Camac from South Australia. I didnt even catch the owner's name or the dog's registered name for that matter, all I know is that she had just had a litter not long ago before the Final. Thankyou to the kind person that offered their lakeland not knowing who she would end up with.
I'd like to thank all the wonderful people who lent me their dogs during lunch times and supported me through the years of junior handling. Thank You :)
