Walkingbear Farm Presents
our Junior Stallion
WB Fireflys Rebel Command
2005 AMHR Appaloosa Miniature
"Fire" was our very first miniature horse. Totaly an impulse buy. We had no idea what we where getting into. We have high hopes for this very refined elegant colt. He should mature to only 33". We may test breed him in 2008, and stand him at stud in 2009. In the mean time we have started him driving and he loves it!! He has very nice elegant gaits. Watch for him at the local shows in driving in 2008.
Fire has the bloodlines of Sunnyside , Komoko, Shadow Oaks, Johnsons Palomino, and to the famous Chianti  twice.
He is the only miniature horse we have that is not double registered in AMHA/AMHR. We plan to go to the expence to hardship him into AMHA as soon as he is eligible as he should only mature to about 32" to 33" tall. Both his sire and dam were under 34" but his dams AMHA papers were allowed to expire.
It was love at first sight when we saw him at 4 days old. It seems as though he stopped to pose for our camera. We purchased him that day.
"Fires" pedigree
Fat and furry at 6 months old he still seems  to pose for the camera
His first show was the Area VII Nationals in Red Bluff, Ca. As a yearling he did quite well in the 117 degree heat. We found that he likes to pose for the Judge!
"Fire" took Grand Champion Miniature Stallion at the Tehama District Fair September 2007!!!
As a Coming 3 year old he has no idea that he weighs only 1/4 the weight of our ApHC yearling colt!! The two colts love to play kissy face over the fence. Note the wire over the bottom three rails of the pipe corral fence.
