If you are tracking an animal, estimate the animals size and count
the number of tracks in a square area the size of the animal. Then divide by four
If you are tracking a man, then take a large step and make it square.
Then count the number of tracks and divide by two.
If the number is odd then always round off to the next number up.
If you cross a resting place, it will be possible to count
the number of positions where people have sat.
