Bonavista Bay
One day in 1497, an Italian explorer named Giovanni Caboto sighted land on the horizon after weeks of travel across an unknown ocean. This was the rocky headland of Cape Bonavista, jutting far out into the North Atlantic. Bonavista Bay is home to some of the most interesting communities in the province, and as time permits, I will try to include
as many of them as I can.
