Forgotten. The TMNT were forgotten. Almost. It wasn't until recently that a writer by the name of Saban decided to bring back those four loveable guys from the depths of our forgotten imaginations. Thus we beheld, Ninja Turtles: The Next Mutation.

The first ep, East Meets West Part I, which aired 9/12/97, set off a new demension into the world of the TMNT, LOAD ME!

and brought the TMNT out from hiding. THe making of the new TMNT eps looked like they took a lot of time and dedication, but all in all it was a great job done. Load

The setting takes place, of course, in New York. The turtles are older now, and much more advanced. If you haven't seen any of the cartoons, movies, read the comics, or don't know much about the TMNT, watching the new eps requires past knowledge. However, it appears there's no April, nor Casey, or any of our old fave characters. LOAD

And the Shredder is once and for all no more. But we do have the introduction of a new character, and she's a cutie! With the new show, we meet the first female mutant turtle, Venus DeMilo! I haven't had much experience in this show, due to lack of time to watch it. LOAD
