Formula # 71 - A vial of thin red liquid, the liquid of harvesting.
It uses 2 parts of a vial of zombie blood and 1 part of a bright red rowan tree pome.
It uses your skills in healing to create and is circle 10.

"This potion, when properly applied to a carved scarab, imbues the gem with the ability to absorb some (though NOT ALL) of the damage that would otherwise be inflicted on its wearer.  The amount of damage it can absorb is based on the potency of the potion.  Once the scarab is 'filled', the wearer (if he or she is not you) can return it to you to be drained.  Once you RUB the scarab, all the damage it has absorbed will be transferred to you.  If the scarab still exists after the transfer, you can then return it to its owner to use again.  There can only ever be one user per scarab.

"To activate the gem, POUR this potion on it after you have CUT yourself with something sharp since blood is required to 'educate' the scarab as to its purpose.

"Appropriate gems for scarabs are: tourmaline, malachite, aventurine, carnelian, agate, onyx, jade, and jasper."

Administered by drinking, the tonic takes approximately an hour to take effect, during which time the imbiber may experience some odd side-effects.

It uses one part of yellow acid and 3 parts of charred oak.

While repulsive in flavor, this tonic sharpens one's vision and makes it easier to search out hidden things.

Formula # 80 - An inky smoke-filled vial, the vial of Discord.
It uses 2 parts of a bunch of wild purple grapes and 1 part of a jar of red wine vinegar.
It uses your skills in conjuration to create and is circle 4.

"While sour grapes were originally preferred, regular grapes suit in this conjuration that bottles a spirit of discord for the use of anyone, anywhere.  The spirit specifically goes after enemies, seeking to weaken their defenses.  It must be THROWN to use."

Formula # 81 - A bottle of herbal wine, the balm of Orpheus.
It uses 2 parts of  hypercium blossom and 1 part of purple wine.
It uses your skill in healing to create and is circle 9.

Similar to the elixir of Hestia but different in the respect that it keeps those under is effect from attacking others. It also negates the effects of the spirit of Discord and Ares potion. Can be  mixed with the bottled storm potion to create an area effect against hostile creatures. NOTE: If a person under the effects of this formula is attacked, they will shake off its effects!

Formula # 87 - A  bottle of slimy green ooze, the tiny wand formula.
It uses 4 parts of dark green cucumber and 2 parts of cool water.
It uses your skill in conjuration to create and is level 1.

"The tiny wand creation formula changes a carved wand into a magical tool. The wand will call forth living blobs to attack your enemies. To target your enemies simply SHAKE MY WAND AT <target>. And you will direct a blob at them.
Beware though, for if your target is too skilled for you, the blob may turn upon you. For it will always seek a target to feed upon.

To make a wand first create a bottle of slimy green ooze. Then forage for a stick.
Holding your stick in your hand, and a knife, CUT the stick. This will trim it down to a size you can work with.

Holding your short stick, now CARVE your stick until you achieve a rough wand. At this point  you're ready for the final step.

Formula # 88 - A vial of sticky ooze, the wand feeding potion.
It uses 1 part of pungent pulpy mash and 1 part of honey comb.
It uses your skill in conjuration to create and is circle 2.

The wand feeding formula is used to renew the life imbued into the tiny wands. To feed them you pour the vial of sticky ooze onto the wand. This will renew its vigor enabling you to battle again with it.
