Fished the first competition of the new season at  Dungeness.

8 Members plus one guest.

Large quantities of whiting caught by everybody, with the odd Dab and Pout thrown in for good measure.

However, most of the whiting caught were just undersize.

Best bag was Clive Mitchell with 5lb 4oz.

Saturday 15th July, 2000

Second Competition fished at  Langney Point (Eastbourne).

Most bags consisting of purely Pout, although a few small Dabs were caught. A nice Sole for Barry, and a very small Thornback Ray for Shaun added to the variety.

Best bag Clive Mitchell 4lb 7oz (Again!!)

This was the last competition fished in 2001.  8 people fished Dungeness. Lots of whiting coming to the scales, along with a few pout. Biggest bag was just over 14 lbs.

Not a good start to the year.  Due to short tides and the weather, we were unable to guarantee we could get enough lug for us all, so decided to cancel.
