Is this feeling for real, coming from riding a machine made of metal and steel?
We cruise down the open road with no particular place to go.
The road seems long but is clear, which gives us the feeling of freedom and
being alone.
With the wheels spinning so fast, I'm hoping this moment of pleasure will last,
and be something I can treasure when I think of my past.
It gives me the feeling of being like a bird in flight.
As you pick up the speed, I hold on to you for my life.
You tell I have nothing to fear, to hold on and relax my dear.
You lay your head back against my chest and it makes me forget all the rest.
You decide we'll just take it slow, since we have no real place to go.
A sense of security comes on and I put my mind to rest as we ride into
a warm sunset in the west.
How far did we go? Where did we go?
I guess we'll never know ?
