First Chicks Hatch of 2007

Our first Chick of 2007 hatched on 16th March a little white Frizzle bantam followed by plenty of  Welsummers, Welbars, some Cream Legbars.

Avian Influenza
If you are a poultry keeper in the UK with 50 or more birds this includes Chickens, Bantams,Ducks, Geeses,Pheasants,Partridges,Quail , etc. you should now be registered with Defra they are also requesting other poultry keepers to register voluntarily .
You can register on line or by phone which is what I did it took about 5 minutes

After registering you will receive Registration number and a copy of the details you gave Defra plus details and information on helping to protect your birds against  bird flu.
