Thanksgiving

I thank you for your mercy, Lord
I thank you for your grace
And for the everlasting smile
You've hidden 'neath my face.

I thank you for your sacrifice.
You offered your own Lamb.
I thank you just for who you are,
You are the great I Am.

I thank you for your awesome Word,
That's hidden in my heart.
I thank you for your Holy Plan,
Of which you've made me part.

I thank you for your voice, my Lord
And for allowing me to hear it.
I thank you for your gentle love,
And the guidance of your Spirit.

I thank you for the special place,
You've set aside for me.
I thank you for the chains of sin,
From which you've set me free.

I thank you for the many gifts,
You've given me and mine.
For the Kingdom and all power
And all glory, Lord, is thine.
