DID YOU KNOW ! ! !

The first book ever printed features donkeys as
prominent figures throughout. Abraham & the
children of Israel could not have accomplished
anything without the abundant talents of the
donkey. Balaam's donkey was the only animal
in the bible the Lord gave the power of speech
to, after she saved Balaam's life three times,
even after he beat her. (Numbers 22:21-33) A
donkey carried Mary to the stable on that first
Christmas Eve & subsequently witnessed a
scene forever etched in our cultural fabric. And
Jesus rode a donkey into Jerusalem on the first
Palm Sunday, after which, legend tells us, he
endowed the willing animal with the sign of the
cross that now graces the back of every
member of the donkey family.
