Details.

2 Training Group was formed at 6 Wentworth Street, point piper, where it remained until 23 May 1942, when the move to Wagga Wagga, New South Wales was completed. At Wagga the Headquarters occupied hired accomodation in the Court House, Australia Hotel, Glamus Court, Commercial Hotel, Rural Chambers and the Riverina Club. In 1946, 2 Training Group Headquarters moved to Loftus Street, Sydney, where it disbanded on 28 March 1946.

2 Training Group administered units operating in New South Wales and Queensland.
