Tears And Laughter

Don’t ask me

Why beauty is a kin to sadness;

Why joy is often paid with tears;

Why tears and laughter mingle freely;

Why…

Don’t ask me

Why fear’s a kin to madness;

Why anguish is often paid with tears;

Why tears and laughter mingle freely;

Why…

Tears and laughter mingle freely;

They’re the same and worlds apart;

They’re each the end of one big circle,

Each the other’s inner heart,

Each the other’s needed part.
