Comments: This car was originally purchased by my Uncle, who always wanted a Cadillac. He had lung cancer and only got to drive it to and from the doctors. When he died in 1983, he left the car to us. Eventually it was handed down to me and became my college car. It has served me well for 7 years, but now has a bad rod bearing. I am in need for an engine (looking for a mid 70's 472 or 500) since the original 368 was just barely adequate. I plan to bring the car back to its former glory, one day. There's a lot of sentimental value in her, as I'm sure you Caddy lovers can understand. I love the look of the early 80's Cadillacs (it was this body style that almost did-in Lincoln --it wasn't until Cadillac downsized the car that Lincoln had a comeback). Thanks for reading my story and if you can help with an engine, please email me.
Comments: I have a number of Cads sitting on a site in Albion, CA. Including a Cad pickup conversion, professionally done. These are abandoned cars, but need to get rid of all of them as soon as possible. If interested, please e-mail me. They range through the late 60s & early 70s. Will have photos this weekend, 7/31/00 to e-mail. Will also have complete inventory of cars, with vin #'s.

But my mom purchased her new so I know it wasn't something that the dealer did. Thanks, Kent Norris |

Comments: Cadillacs are one of my favorite subjects. Currently own a 1971 Fleetwood Brougham, black exterior/green interior, 83,000 miles and a 1976 Fleetwood Seventy-Five Limousine, black interior/exterior, white padded vinyl roof, 64,000 miles. The '71 weighs 5,0 0 lbs., and the '76, 6,040 lbs. (weighed at a recycling center). The Fleetwood is 228.8" (19-feet) long; the '76, 252.2" (just over 21-feet). Both are big, luxurious autos. The '71 has a 472 engine and the '76 a 500. There just is nothing made today that an compare. Favorite Cadillacs: pre-'77.
Comments: Hey. I love your website. Do you know where I could find the actual photos of the ads? The silver '77 coupe ad that you have happens to be the same exact car that I bought and I thought that a duplicate of that ad framed would be an interesting conversati n piece. Please e-mail me if you have any information. Keith

Comments: Car is all original down to the paint, it looks like new except for the engine compartment which I'll detail someday. Got it when my mom passed, she got it new and called it "big red" cause it's red. I'm also building up a 508 cad eng for my 73 chev 3/4 t n 4X4 work truck. Also looking rightside mirror nos or very good used.
