Drying Rack

LuBelle Beads-Green
		Multi-Drying Rack Back to:PROJECT LIST

I use this make-shift rack to hold the skewered beads while they dry after varnishing or when I have put on a layer of TLS and I need to wait for it to smooth out.

Materials:

  • Large-holed plastic cross-stitch canvas
  • Cardboard
  • Scissors
  • Glue gun
  1. Cut two 2" wide strips of plastic canvas, cutting against one of the grid lines so that you will have little notches.

  2. Cut a rectangle of cardboard as long as your skeweres are, minus two inches.

  3. Cut another rectangle or cardboard 1" shorter and just as wide. Cut two 1/2" strips of cardboard.

  4. Glue the canvas pieces to the largest piece of cardboard using the smaller cardboard strips for support. See picture
