Back to:PROJECT LIST
I use this make-shift rack to hold the skewered beads while they dry after varnishing or
when I have put on a layer of TLS and I need to wait for it to smooth out. |
Materials:
- Large-holed plastic cross-stitch canvas
- Cardboard
- Scissors
- Glue gun
|
- Cut two 2" wide strips of plastic canvas, cutting against one of the grid lines so that you will have little notches.
- Cut a rectangle of cardboard as long as your skeweres are, minus two inches.
- Cut another rectangle or cardboard 1" shorter and just as wide. Cut two 1/2" strips of cardboard.
- Glue the canvas pieces to the largest piece of cardboard using the smaller cardboard strips for support. See picture
