Whirlpool
She had barnacles
Attached to the backs of her hands
A sea creature
One of those
Raven rescued her spiral
Whirlpool
The music crashed rhythmically in the
background
We lasted this long
May as well finish this business
Of swimming without air
How come she was only covered with
hair
Nature knows no need for clothes
I too swam and turned round and round
Waiting for a great white to fright
and bite
To no avail
There is nothing out there these days
All the fishes have gone – swam away
