Ode to an emotion

A pleasant belief – This devotion

To live to thrive to exist

‘Pon the edge of a brilliant sunset

A dream

A colored vision brightly portraying my religion

Nature the mother of all we encompass

Desire – And dictate to our lives

The orb of clean pure light which

Touches our humanity so truly

Blinding my eyes to society’s loss of sight

Opening my heart to worlds of light

Peach is the true color of a man’s heart

The surrounding blue his limitless dreams

To this beautiful creation I send

A prayer each day I breathe it’s sweet air

And kiss its moist dewdrops

With my thirsty lips
