Love Story

She keeps the poems

And letters that I give her

In a box next

To her bed

Of them all she admits

(once in a while)

I am the one

She hates and loves

The most

And I boast that

She couldn’t live without me

And she agrees

Reluctantly

It would never work

Between us

But there is still

A special magic there
