Heartbeat
Rarely a soul visits the sea
When it is not sunny and warm
Do they not wish to partake
Of the eternal archetypal beast
pulsing
One magnificent breath
A rhythm of life somewhere far off the
shore
A microcosm of entities
Rippling crying being torn into shards
of agony
Still the salty air will make natural
again
What man has twisted to form his idols
of the eye
Infinity of perception held in one vantage
point
Now on the rocks cast your body off
Into the depths of this underworld
Salvation in all faiths
And charged with particles of sexual
energy
We blend in an aquatic collage of
colors
And wade in a jungle of drifting
vegetation
Waiting for rescue or perhaps better
To be left to the tide to decide our
fates
