Fear and its mastery

Alternate worlds out there

Real and alive

The greatest test

And show of new realities

Is to be alone

Existing as a nomad

Drifting to the way the

River sounds

Or the temptation of birds

On high there promising Eden

When will you free yourself

Into the darkness

Of approaching lights

Nighttime conversation

Age-old clink of glasses

And soft murmurs

Laughter and a promise

Of warmth

In the winter’s cold
