Faces cast in the fire glow

Red auras fleshy phantoms of living

Picture book children pure and believing

Released

Bathed in the intensity

Frozen

They’ve surrendered to the energy of spirit

Amazed at the wonder of the glow

Sphere of gentle heat

With unlimited resource

God’s light nature’s heart the earth’s core

A purification

Rocks circle surrounding the orange orb oscillating wildly

Eyes shine in the trees of blackest night

Owls coyotes bears raccoons mice

Creatures come from the corners of the forest

To join in the observation

Of something akin to all living things

A primitive gathering

As her first son (sun) is born
