St. Andrew's Episcopal Church

3rd and Excel, Petersburg, Alaska

Services:   Sundays at 10:00 a.m.

Holy Eucharist (When the vicar is in town) Diocese of Alaska

Liturgy of the Word (Other Sundays)

A parish of the Episcopal Diocese of Alaska.   The Episcopal Branch of the One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church in Alaska.

The 2 foot by 6 foot windows show: the mountains (the Devil's Thumb and Petersburg Mountain) that surround and protect; and water where so much of Godís bounty lays.

There's the boat, with the mast so closely resembling the cross.

Sea creatures: the halibut, the crab, the shrimp, the Red Snapper and the salmon.

Wild flowers: the skunk cabbage; bog lantern; the shooting star; forget-me-not; and daisies.

There are also the inner symbols of the Church: the St. Andrew's crest; the Bible open; the candle with its welcoming light; the Holy bread and wine.

Please note that this site is not run by St Andrews Episcopal Church and has no connection with the church.
